I for one would love the opportunity. Getting a decent hands on =
education in this trade can be difficult or very expensive. I feel that =
giving the customer a deal is worth it as I don't expect the customer to =
pay for my education. Why would the client want to pay full price for a =
job that takes me twice as long as the next guy and is acceptable but =
maybe not top quality?=20

Perhaps what I should do in the future, instead of just turning down =
project like that, is find younger, less experienced technicians, but =
who do admirable work, to take on refurbishing these old relics. It give =
them the experience and money they need, and frees up my time to take on =
other project that I feel justified taking money for. Does that sound =
kind of "uppity?" Or are there other out there who feel the same say?=20
