Clyde, List,

I once borrowed another technician's tools at the St. Louis National
Convention to tune a piano for the lounge act in the hotel. It started out
as a fun idea, and I was itching to tune a piano for some reason.

During the tuning I got to thinking what if a string were to break, or
something were to go wrong that I didn't have the means to fix before show
time. It was a eerie feeling realizing the situation I had put myself in
without considering possible consequences.

Fortunately, everything came off without a hitch. The musicians were
delighted, and for a couple of hours, I dined and danced the night away
with my honey.

Holiday cheers,
