 YOU HAVE ANSWERED THE BONUS QUESTION OF THE DAY!!  (which is how much
bearing does a flat sound board need ?Answer is   NONE . It needs to proceed
directly to the fire place ,do not pass go etc.And  Ron N passed in flying
colors.  And I thought I was the only one to be ranting and preaching this
unpopular position. So glad I struck that nerve.
         Seriously I come  up against this notion everday that hey,  the
board is perfect because it isn't cracked . We do have these in the great
state of calif. but flat as pancakes they are.   And most not sounding very
interesting or exhibiting the many impedance problems I described to Terry
Farrel earlier.
   Glad your feeling better and well enough to take the bait and make my
