It depends on the uses to which you plan to put it. If you are going to be 
doing only minor or middling shopwork, a bench press would be fine. If you 
are going to be doing a lot of pinblock drilling, I have found that the floor 
presses with deep throats :) are better, especially for stability since I 
have a milling platform mounted on mine. I guess one rule of thumb is to get 
the best and biggest you can afford, like a piano.
