Samick leg bolts

I went to move a Samick the other day and the leg bolts were hex cap head.

Fortunately the movers who set it up put them on finger tight so getting them
off was no problem. To secure the legs, I snugged them up with a pair of pliers
since I didn't have a hex key that large.

Does anyone know the size of the hex key so I can have one on hand in the
event of another Samick encounter?

Another interesting thing happened during the move. While packing up the
trailer
at the end, I found a short phillips head machine bolt. I figured it fell
out of the piano
so I went back in to investigate. The treble nose bolt had fallen out! I
retrieved my
flashlight and inspection mirror to find the stud was about an inch away
from the plate.
I turned it back up from underneath but the holes did not align but close
enough to force-
fit. The stud was loose enough in the beam to start to turn while
attempting to install the bolt.
I set the stud height to the plate and secured it with vise-grips while
threading the bolt in.
Evidently what had happened at the factory was that the stud was backed-off
from the plate
during installation and was hanging-on by a few threads. Fortunately the
plate through that
section is quite thick so I don't think any damage was done. Make you
wonder though...
