Thanks Howard. Yes, I always do clamp the action frame in place on my flat bench. I usually have pretty good luck getting real close on the bench regulation. This particular comment was referring to those few piano keybeds that look like an over-cooked lasagna noodle - you know, like the 1915 Brambach 4' 8" grand with the apparent water damage.
