Casters

Bob,
Last one I did had double wheel (similar to Darnell) casters. The socket is
a bit different from supply house stock but you can make standard ones work.
Be sure and get cardboard shim washers for the socket when you order. Quite
often the socket has been buried a bit in the hole in the frame. Usually
causes a caster wheel blowout in the middle of the Hamilton class studio
races on the music department raceways.
Best,
Dale

I will soon be replacing a caster on a Hamilton studio. Could someone
tell me if I need to order it from Baldwin, or is it a stock stem size
that I could get from any supply house?

Thanks,
