Oh, you with the cute verbiage. There ARE different types of waxes used in candles bud. One can find candles made from the following waxes: - Paraffin Wax - Beeswax - Vegetable Wax - Tropical Wax (don't know what it is exactly, but I don't think it is paraffin) - Granulated Wax (don't know what it is exactly, but I don't think it is paraffin) I like to try and be careful to read ingredients before I buy/use a product. Sometimes you have to be a good detective to be sure you have what you think you have. Even if I had a paraffin candle, I would be concerned about all the other stuff that might be in it. I would suppose a scientific supply house (or maybe even a candle-making supply house!) would sell pure paraffin, but I was hoping Roger might be able to point out that one can find something like Humpty-Dumpty brand Pure Paraffin Wax at the local grocery store.
