It depends on who's looking. Over 90% of the folks showing evidence of
deficiencies in color vision are red and / or green impaired. Kawai has
chosen a color that almost every sighted prospective customer and member of
sales staffs can see, whereas Yamaha is not inducing the proper endorphin
response in nearly two percent of the potential market and ubiquitous sales
staff. Kawai has clearly positioned their duplex muting to the wider market.

Perception is nine tenths of the flaw.
