Tuning Pins, was: a Bechstein from DC

Are there any opinions regarding differences between Nickel or Blued Denro
pins and Nickel or Blued Diamond pins? I have to admit, on the few stringing
jobs I have done, I have used the Diamond pins - when I don't know what the
heck I am doing, it tend to buy the best equipment/supplies available (just
trying to eliminate as many variables as possible) even though they are
twice the price - just figured maybe they work better. Can I assume this
might not be the case? When I mic a box, there certainly are a good bit of
variation in size, but I don't really know how much others vary.
