        Phil,
    I agree with Ron. Especially with a spinet  where action removal is a
problem. ( Thin CA with the action upside down works great ) but for spot
repair you can wiggle  them off with your hands, Reduce the size of the
shank slightly,and reglue with titebond. Don't forget those catcher shanks.
