List,

I have a barrel full of hammer butts and wippens for sale. My late father
probably had gotten them from Wurlitzer when the plant in Holly Springs, MS
was shut down. They roughly correspond to the compact wippens/butts in the
supply house catalogs. I have a jpeg available if anyone wants to see them.
There are no backchecks, and I think all the spoons point to the right as
you look at the bridle strap wire, tho I don't know for sure because I've
only seen the ones at the top of the barrel. The dimensions for the wippens
are length 8.6 cm and jack length 5.5 cm. The hammer butts are 5.3 cm from
catcher to the edge of the body of the butt, and 5.4 cm from the butt flange
to the top of the butt.

There are a bunch of them (several hundred), and I was going to burn them
Saturday just to get them out of the way. However, maybe some of you could
use them for something. There is a little of the green corrosion at the
center pin bushings, typical of parts this age; but nothing that Protek
won't easily remedy.

I'll take $0.25 per part, separated and bagged in "Walmart" type bag, plus
whatever shipping would be. If you are interested, please respond to the
email address below rather than to the list.
