Steinway hammer alignment

More than likely the felt that cushions the action frame at the left hand
side of the keyboard has compressed. One solution is to remove the rail on
which the felt is glued and add in some thin veneer to shim the rail out.
This will permanently shift the action to the right, and the problem will be
solved.

It happens from time to time.
