Might I suggest you just walk away ? I mean heck.. the lady was forwarned,
and insisted anyways. Let her take the consequences. Ok.. if you can fix it
reasonably then sure...thats the job.... but you seem to be describing one of
those no brainers out there that often enough are better off watching TV
shopping shows.
