Circa 1979-1981 American Aeolian went through a couple of 
bankruptcies. Production of Mason & Hamlin resumed at the "new" 
Sohmer factory (which had housed the Pratt-Read Company for many 
years) in Ivoryton, CT. Then Sohmer et al had further financial 
difficulties --
