Since rubbing alcohol is already thirty percent H2O, and all the alcohol does is get the water into the bushing and then flash off, I'd a thunk that rubbing alcohol alone was more than enough. But you want even MORE water in there? I'd think that after I was done, I'd be getting ready to re-bush, but you say you've been doing it for years. Hhhhhmm! Well, I trust you.
