Hello, I used Ballistol some time ago, and have some at the shop. It works very well indeed, but when I begin to see old actions with all bushings with some kind of paraffin on it, very difficult to repin, I suspect it was old Ballistol, and then I stopped to use it. Beside, I don't know what kind of oil is it, it seems very natural, smell strong, is not it pine oil ? Please tell me, Gregor, if long term use is possible, or if it does like any oil, with time, beginning to be rubbery ? Shimmel suggest to use it in their Grand regulation manual. It does not seem to attract dust too much. Regards.
