Subject: Roger W. Update

Dear Family & Friends,

Roger had a Drs appointment today.  Drs are happy with how things are going.
He is making what appears to be small improvements.  Since this is the
Clinical Trials of this drug they don't REALLY know what to expect.  He is
at least holding his own, which with AML is something.  He goes back on the
drug next week for up to 8 months.

We are grateful for every day we have and especially grateful for his
feeling good now.  He is up every day and feels like getting out a little.
We still have to avoid crowds, but he has company and goes to town and is
out and about.  He is happy not to be in the hospital.

We are so very grateful for all the prayers, cards, letters, and phone calls
and visits.  There is no way we can ever let you know how much the support
has meant to both of us.

Will stay in touch.
