Has anyone ever heard of a "Jazz" tuning?

Hi Jason

You are very right saying Jarrett is a strange bird.
Did you hear his record "The Book of Ways" ? He plays re-recording
improvisations on two clavichords. Seems that he then tried every
possibility of temperament adaptation to musical idea (or the other way
round). Great results, anyway.

> Sorry, I do not know how Jarrett likes his piano tuned. The article
indicates that he tunes his own harpsichord. He's a strange bird ... he
apparently prepares for an improvisational concert by *not* touching the
piano for a couple of weeks beforehand, so that everything is completely
fresh/new.
