estimate check list

There's no way to have an estimate that covers all possible contingencies,
that's why it's an estimate.  I simply include language that says that "The
total price is an estimate only.  Charges for additional work may occur.
Before any additional work is done, permission from the owner will be
obtained in writing."

Individuals sign the original estimate as an approval and authorization to
do the work.

If there is a change, like a contaminated pin block, I send a new estimate
for the additional work and have them sign approval and send it back.  If
there are additional deposits necessary I ask for them then.
