Isn't that what those otherwise useless little round spot Band Aids in the variety pack are for? Or corn pads. Or runners' nip guards if you like officially sanctioned stuff. It's a mechanical problem, and you're a mechanic. So fix it. With a temporary cover, a little lanolin, and emptying your shirt pocket when you tune, you should be re-nippled in no time. Ron N
