Important Question - Made a Mistake

Wow! from another curmudgeon.

I usually ignore this stuff. You hit a nerve. In times past. (Long past,) neighbors looked after each other. Along comes the government and says "You don't have to help your neighbor, give us your money and we'll do it for you." Then the money is wasted on hiring relatives and friends and there is no money left to help. Is it any wonder that those that have had their money confiscated then refuse to respond to appeals to contribute additional funds to help those that the government now cannot help due to "you didn't give us enough money".
Sorry, we don't have any left.

The constitution specifically prevents the federal government from getting involved in welfare. Since they have done so anyway, they have destroyed the system that worked and replaced it with a system that has never worked and never will.

However, that will never stop a liberal from trying it once again. So? What's new?
