Not home

I was tuning for a new customer a couple of weeks ago. She had to leave to
go meet someone for lunch, and told me to just lock the door behind me. I
had to go out to move my car for her -- she drove off, and I proceeded to
re-enter the house. When I opened the door, the alarm went off, scaring the
bejeezus out of me :). Unfortunately, at this point the customer was long
gone -- leaving me to wait for the police to show up. They did, and
menacingly demanded to know what I was doing there -- I explained the
situation, and they asked to see my toolkit. I complied and luckily they
bought it :)

Needless to say I wasn't able to touch up those last few unisons with the
alarm blaring so I left. The customer never called to apologize or to ask
why her alarm was going when she returned home. Some people mystify me.

The worst problem is when the customer leaves after
you have arrived and, from force of habit, locks you
inside the building!
