Hi List,
Even with the plate size marked, I have on occasion, forgotten, and gone =
past the mark.=20
What I do now, is count out the number of pins, needed, till the next =
wire change. When, I run out of pins, it is time to change.
I have never restrung, with the old pins, although I suppose in some =
cases, there might not have been a reason to change.

What is the consensus? Is it a requirement for new larger pins to be =
installed on a restring?

Regards,
John M. Ross

  Hi list,=20
What I do is go ahead and cut the number of strings I need, of one =
wire size,so that when I run out of wire,I know it's time to change =
size. It also helps to get in a rhythm,=20
making it easier to focus on one task at a time, actually Don Valley =
taught me this way.=20
