air compressors

Terry,

I agree with Phil and Terry. Last year I bought a Campbell and Hausfield 30 gallon from Sears, a little less than $400 ("reasonably priced" is subjective). Chose to buy an oil-lubricated type, rather than oil-less, due to the big difference in noise levels. 6 or 7 ACFM at 90 psi, enough to run a palm nailer or die grinder, or a vortex chilling nozzle for the drill press. Right now you might be thinking you'll only blow out actions, but once you've got the compressor you'll start finding other uses for it. Think of it as a life-time investment, get the quality and capacity you'll need for the long haul. Just my view.

Mike
