Hi Jon,
            Better yet drill an indent in the bottom of the flush saw cut, 
you can now place the pin on top of the pin in the piano, and slide the 
coil off one pin on to the other.  This helps to stop the coil from opening 
up so much, and makes fitting the becket so much easier.
