Hi folks, For any of you in the general area of Bergen this October I'd like you remind you of the Nordic Piano Technicians Convention on the 11th and 12th. We have received confirmation of Klaus Fenners program for the convention. He and Jan Grossbach will give a lecture on the construction and function of Sound boards and will be talking a good deal about the newly published text on the same subject written by himself and Jan Grossbach. This book is probably the definitive text on the subject to date and is so far only available in German. By the way, nearly all classes at the convention will be given both in English and in Scandic. We will be running parallel classes in order to deal with both the language needs and numbers of those attending. Classes by our American and Canadian guest instructors will be held in English only. The class by Fenner and Grossbach will be in a combination of German and English. Those of our European friends close by should defiantly take the trip up to Bergen for the affair.
