That can very easily be done. The reason the speakers are under the piano, is 
because that is where they are installed at the factory. The same with the 
control box. However, there is nothing to prevent the owner of the piano to 
ask that the speakers be disconnected, and the wires run through his/her own 
speaker system, and for the control box to be set on a shelve somewhere. 

However, as far as the speakers are concerned, you want to make sure they are 
close to the piano. The music coming from the speakers are supposed to be 
part of the piano music being played. If the speakers are in another part of 
the room, it won't necessarily be a stereo effect.
