Genius! Great! ? Do you feel secure in the jack safely holding the piano without = otherwise blocking it up? Your praise underwhelms me! (G) I do feel insecure at times, but not = about this. Just slide the bench under the piano. A Sears catalog on = top is okay. But Nixon always said "Let me say this about that". If the jack latching mechanism fails, it can only drop to the minimum = height. That will protect the rear of the piano. For the front two = legs, and additional safety is the lyre wich will limit the fall. I am a little insecure about legs in general. I was pushing a baby = grand recently a few feet when the rear leg hit something, broke off, = pulled the screws out and crashed to the floor. As they say in Hawaii "Da buggah make big noise" I hate when that = happens!!!! Wasn't very much work to repair the damage and NO! I didn't tell the = owner. Carl Meyer Assoc.
