Here, the ones that are further off pitch are usually the basket case climate control situations, and they get the 45-50 minute pass and touch up check. The ones close to pitch, I tend to spend more time on - 60-75 minutes. Maybe it's a "degree of improvement" thing, and I know the tuning in the lousy climate control will be wasted next week when the weather changes. A concert tuning takes what it takes, whether it's the 20 minutes they allowed me, or the 1.5 hours I might spend on a tunable instrument before I'm satisfied with it. Ron N
