Hi Patrick, If you staple the velcro tabs to the cloth with an ordinary paper stapler you will find the number provided to be more than adequate. I also staple the velcro to the piano with a heavy duty unit. It adds to labor--but you can get rid of those big thumb tacks, and you can use fewer velcro tabs.
