Harry, As you are a "new member", you have not yet come to the realization that voicing is not permanent. Voicing in a piano changes from day to day and by the amount of playing. I detected a strange statement in your post: you are playing Jazz and you want it bright!???? That seems to be at cross-purposes. Methinks you've either got too many amplified instruments playing with you or you might possible need to have the old ears checked. <G> If, however, you are playing Fusion or some other miscarriage of the "Jazz" idiom, then don't voice that beautiful Schimmel, . . . .Get a Yamaha!
