Thanks Joe. What are your procedures for removing the bridge while trying to minimize damage to the soundboard? I have removed a couple, but it was only because they basically fell off. I'm sure not all are so cooperative. Do you also do this for the long bridge? I can imagine that doing this out of the piano would indeed simplify the procedure.
