I remember that winter, too! (Gary, Indiana) My car broke down on the interstate at Michigan City. Thankfully I got a ride to the Michigan City exit, but had to walk about half a mile. By the time I got where I was going, my breath had frozen in my beard and mustache. I also remember that winter for having to shovel off my driveway twice in the same day. So much for that! I moved to Alabama, where just the slightest dusting of snow can cripple the whole area! An hour and twenty minutes to drive twenty-five miles today.
