Day off

I remember that winter, too! (Gary, Indiana)
My car broke down on the interstate at Michigan City. Thankfully I got a
ride to the Michigan City exit, but had to walk about half a mile. By the
time I got where I was going, my breath had frozen in my beard and mustache.
I also remember that winter for having to shovel off my driveway twice in
the same day.
So much for that! I moved to Alabama, where just the slightest dusting of
snow can cripple the whole area! An hour and twenty minutes to drive
twenty-five miles today.
