Hi Jack. Interesting that you mention Emerson squares. I have an Emerson square in my shop. It was made in 1863 and is HUGE. It measures close to 7 feet wide as I recall. I own it, as I traded a tuning and pitch raise on a console for it. Are you suggesting that I have some premium square grand? Thanks for any thoughts you may have on it. Also, I am currently rebuilding a Woodward & Brown square from 1882. Do you know anything specific to that manufacturer?
