what are the correct offsets for the Kirnberger III? >>

According to Owen J. the following offsets (in cents) from ET create the
Kirnberger III
C  = +12
C#= +2
D  =+4
D#=+6
E  = -2
F  =+10
F#= +2
G  = +8
G# = +4
A  =  0
A#= +8
B  = 0

   This tuning creates a pure C-E, G-B is only 5 cents wide, as is the F-A,
etc. It is a strong tuning, it creates a lot of contrast, and for many
ear-sensitive musicians, the departures from ET on the C, F,G and A# are
noticeable. I don't introduce people to the temperaments with this one, it
holds too much "shock" potential. However, after trying a Coleman,
Broadwood, and then a Young, several of my customers found that they loved
the Kirnberger.
  It is a big change, use it carefully, Good luck,
Regards,
Ed Foote RPT
