I was about to say, come on guys.
I, for one, still have been following this thread,
and the past week or so has been a wealth of research sites and
"definitions" and a refining of our language used to discuss the incredibly
complex issues involved in the physics of vibration and the magic of sound.
Now that the terminology is clearing up, some communication and
understanding is bound to happen. Don't give up yet.
This list IS improving the knowledge of piano techs around the world. I find
pieces, to the jigsaw puzzles I'm assembling, on this list daily. Please
don't think your hollering down an empty hole. We're here. Relax. Write when
your not so tired. I find the time slots available for reviewing this list
to be a major complaint of this list. For me, I am interested in
accelerating my education in this field so I read most all posts. Sometimes
I learn something when I'm least expecting to. Thanks
Keith R.   If my new improved flame suit fits, I might even post a few dumb
questions and irreverent comments (should that be irrelevant?).
