Hi Newton,
                Cheap and nasty, generally poot quality materials.  Lots of
cracks in our neck of the woods.  Have had several where the pedal lyre has
literally fallen apart.
Tone thin and brittle.  If this was made in the Old East Germany, you can
make a lot of money sorting out the problems.
