The Verituner, an opinion from a user in Holland

Antares,

I think 1 hour and 45 minutes is quite reasonable for a pitch raise+ tuning to
concert level. I did one of those (about 10 cents, I think) before I returned my
VT and that's about how long it took after two weeks' practice (30-40 tunings). If
you are not doing pitch adjustments when the pitch is off by five or six cents,
then the resulting pitch in the plain strings will be close to two cents off by the
time you finish, and about one cent off relative to the bass. That's why I have to
go back with VT and redo them. Check your tuning after you finish, and you will
find that wherever the notes were more than 3-4 cents off when you started, they
will no longer be at the beautifully precise pitch to which you tuned them.

You may find that acceptable, but I do not, which is why I am sticking with RCT
until VT comes up with a comparable pitch adjustment feature.

Best regards,

Paul Larudee
