Hi all-

I'm almost positive that the specific temperament used is the same as the
Thomas Moore. I find this to be one of the best to use for introductory
purposes. It has a chopped-off bell curve type shape when graphed, no
thirds get too rough.

offsets from ET:

C 2.5
C# 0
D 1.5
D# 1
E -1.5
F 2
F# -.5
G 3
G# .5
A 0
A# 1.5
B -1

C and G thirds ~ 10 cents from pure
D and F thirds ~ 12 cents from pure
A and Bb thirds ~ 14 cents from pure
all the rest ~ 16 cents from pure

When played in triads, the Ab chord sticks out as the one with the most
energy.

Enjoy!
