    FYI, I was told by the Steinway C&A tech in London that Renner has =
been producing slightly harder hammers in recent years to accommodate =
the ears of a generation of pianists who have grown up on conservatories =
filled with Asian pianos.  Still, the most versatile hammers when it =
comes to creating a range of tone do seem to be Renners....



      I still disagree with the last statement. Most? hummmm
