	The late great Steve Jellen taught in class that the hammer
spring should be the weaker than the jack spring. A strong hammer spring
will overpower the jack spring and slow down repetition. As mentioned in
an earlier post, just bend the spring. When unseated from the butt the
spring should only move slightly forward between the buts, not way up
