This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Yes I have tunelab trial. I haven't used it to tune a piano yet. Just = fooled around with it. Don't tune much you know. At my suggestion, Robert Scott included in the latest download a feature = that measures sustain. I haven't yet fully evaluated this feature, but since the mike channel on the ipac has agc or avc, I = can't see that it would be accurate enough to evaluate the improvement = of, say springs under the soundboard. It may be of value to generally = evaluate sustain in various positions of the keyboard, however. I would = like to see an absolute measurement of sustain that I could use to track = what I try to do to improve the sustain of the so called killer octave. = Oh, well, keeps my braincells from colliding. So many questions, so few = answers. Damm! Carl Meyer Assoc. I have a 3765 = ipac that I still haven't used much. A friend bought a charger for his = for about 30 dollars if I remember right. Being cheap, I went to a surplus store and found one for $7.95. The charger that comes with the unit puts out 5 volts at up to 2 amps. = The one I found puts out 5 volts at 1.6 amps. That's enough. It might = take longer to fully charge if the batt was really low. It can plug into anything from 100 volts to 240 volts. You need to make sure the plug is the right polarity. The one I found = is Backpack bantam model AUA-05-1600. I'm going to keep my eyes open = for any more I can find. Carl Meyer Assoc.
