IMHO, any hammer that is made properly, with decent felt should take
steaming just fine. In the past, the only hammers I've seen that wouldn't
were on some cheapy Asian pianos, (Not Yamaha, Kawai, etc.) <G> Those
puppies practically exploded when hit with steam or the alt. method,
alcohol/water.
