"But you know it for sure?" I think Stéphane was just trying to emphasize that the person playing the piano is very certain that there is a significant difference between two pianos. 

The question I have about her post is regarding the following statement: "....they are made following the same (computer controlled) uppermost demanding specifications." This sounds like something to be attributed to Yamaha, not Steinway. Are the Hamburg Steinway's made very, very differently from NY Steinway's? I thought all Steinway's were hand-made by 47th generation artisans.
