Tom, if you really want a sure-fire cure for this you have two options;

    1). rebush and re-pin the existing parts, or,=20

    2).  replace with new parts.=20

    That's about it. My understanding is that the felt in the bushings =
of some brands was treated with a chemical which has the unfortunate =
effect of reacting with flange pins. I haven't found a magic solution =
that we can apply that prevents it from ever coming back, so ; *  (This =
posting can be thought of as an endless loop, if you want to go back to =
the top at the apostrophe........)
