Hello List,

Just a short note on this. For the vertical backside cover, we are =
replacing the mylar plastic shield with the speaker cloth used in the =
grand undercover. This will provide the same benefit but simplify the =
installation. Generally, the backside cover and the grand undercover =
are designed to provide better confinement for the environment in which =
the system operates. Thus they help significantly in pianos where air =
movement is a problem.

As a gentle reminder, I do need to say that Dampp-Chaser Corporation has =
a US patent for vertical backside covers and grand undercovers used in =
conjunction with pianos having climate control systems. Thanks.

  Hi John,=20

It's my understanding that DamppChaser is going to replace the =
vertical plastic back cover with the speaker cloth material that they =
currently use for their grand undercover installation. I just sold a =
grand undercover for a grand system already installed. It's located in a =
church with air movement problems and I'm expecting it to further =
stabilize the piano.=20
