Sodium Silicate is water glass. They used to use the stuff to patch radiator leaks (percolator type) if the oatmeal failed. In a previous life, I used it as a glue to assemble sheet rock cubical wall panels for Dilbert installations. I also discovered it's unsuitability as a brass nipple sealant for player work.
