Isermann action

Yrs,

At the school where I taught (1960's) in Germany we had an early 1900's 
Bechstein grand with an Isermann action.  My guess would be that any piano 
with that quality action would have been above average when new, but that 
with this many years passing, one must look mainly to the present condition 
of the instrument.

Can you describe the instrument?  What is your reason for wanting 
information?  Planning to purchase?
