Unusual piano and unusual action

I have seen very similar actions in 1860-ish Chickerings. The action is a
Single Escapement Type and is a bear to regulate for consistancy, (much like
that of the Square Grand type single escapement actions!) That's about all I
can tell you about it. Since it is German, possibly ask a German Tech.??
